Talking Tadpoles is a pediatric therapy practice that offers a full range of services for communication, feeding, sensory, and fine motor difficulties for children birth through 21 years of age in multiple locations:

Talking Tadpoles' therapists partner with the family and child to create and provide an effective, individualized therapy plan to best meet the needs of each child. Functional progress is achieved through the use of evidence-based, child-focused treatment. Family participation is welcomed and encouraged throughout therapy.

 

Our licensed and certified speech-language pathologists can address deficits related to:

  • Articulation (pronouncing sounds correctly)

  • Receptive Language (ability to understand spoken words/sentences)

  • Expressive Language (ability to express meaning through words/sentences)

  • Fluency (stuttering or cluttering disorder)

  • Dysphagia (a swallowing disorder)

  • Feeding with or without oral motor delays

  • Pragmatics (social use of language with different partners)

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

  • Auditory Processing

  • Apraxia of Speech (difficulty with voluntary positioning and sequence for speech)

Our licensed and certified occupational therapists can address deficits related to:

  • Sensory Processing & Integration

  • Handwriting

  • Gross Motor Skills

  • Fine Motor Skills

We offer specialized therapeutic services to address difficulties related to a number of developmental skills. These challenges may be the result of a range of diagnoses including:

  • Developmental Delay, 

  • Autism,

  • Intellectual Disability,

  • Down Syndrome,

  • Cerebral palsy,

  • Cleft Palate,

  • Hearing Impairment, or

  • Genetic Syndromes

 

Therapy can help children develop skills needed for participation in activities of daily living and communication with their peers and families.
